I really love this light, but I am in selling mode right now. I had it modded by Milky, quite simply, it blazes. This light is MINT in every way, bottom pic shows mod description. WITHDRAWN

Very nice light. I'm tempted to get this and skip the Gotham. Can you provide a few more details, such as which batteries it runs off of (or could run off of)? I'm assuming its a McR27 w/ a Seoul P4 @ 600ma, just one level? Probably running a 17670?

I believe you're right on all counts. The DB will take up to 16V so you could run it off 1 X 17670, 2 X CR123, and 2 X RCR123.

What's the beam like, is it similar to a 27LT-S? Will the head work with Aleph and E-series Surefire bodies?
