I currently own a Taig and I have been eyeing the Homier 7X12 for a while now. Then, all of a sudden, I find I also need a mill. Now, Homier also has a benchtop mill, but I was thinking of getting a bigger bang for the buck by going the route of one of those Mill/Lathe combos. Any thoughts? Any recommendations?

The Homier is a great little lathe.
You can get a SMALL milling attachment for it, but like I said, its small. So you are limited.

I have heard its not good to get the cheaper lathe/mills, cuz you get an "OK" lathe and mill, vs. getting them seperate, but if you spend the $$$ to get a nice one, it might be worth it.

They were out of my price range, so I got the Homier.

I think milling attachments are available for the geen, Asian Harbor F. unit. I'm sure it's moot if you can get one for the Taig.
