Mini-Mag 2 AAA Mod?

Does anyone know of a mod for the Mini-Mag 2 AAA? I am looking for a brighter penlight. I have a Stylus that is great but there have been occasions when it just doesn't have enough light (wound checks on early morning rounds). I've heard that the MagmaLED will fit but they seem to be sold out and from what I've been able to gather the output is about the same as the Stylus.

I've been following the forum for about a month and have been impressed by the great info and mods!

The Magmaled will fit in a AAA Minimag. The base of the reflector might need to be sanded down a bit to get a tight beam. I don't think that the Magmaled is any brighter than the Stylus as both are single LEDs

Thanks for the input! I heard from InReTech who said they made a module to fit a 2AAA and it just didn't perform very well with poor output and poor runtime. Maybe I'll just put a Radio Shack bulb in it and deal with the rings.
Open to any other suggestions.
