Mini-mag mod, anybody tried.....?

Nextar lamps? Ok, I know just about everybody has tried nextar lamps. But, while I was on the brinkmann websitgeI noticed the 2-C brinkmann bulbs looked like the same kind as the 2-AA ones. But, they don't say "nextar replacement bulb for 2 cells", they say for 2 AA or for 2C which leads ME to believe that the 2C ones are slightly different (most likely higher current pull/brightness).

So, has anybody tried the 2C bulb in their minimag? If so, how much current does it draw? What about brightness relative to A: regular minimag B:Minimag with nexstar 2AA bulb?

Bump, because I am curios.

Oh, and if the legend nextar 2C follows other lights where the AA's pull around 500 ma and the C and D's pull around 750, this would at least DOUBLE the minimag's output.
