Do you guys reccomend a tailcap switch for the Minim@g. The only one I've found is this one...

Only $5.

I think I would prefer to use the kroll. It looks nicer and has a firm click. Dimming in your light is a whole other story...

Every one of these I have gotten has broken. Yes they have a lifetime warrentes, but having to send them back and forth to San Diego is a pain. The screw threads come apart from the switch and it stops working when you tighten it down too much. (Which is not very hard)

They bo look real nice though.

wow rocketmaninphx that sucks. I have not had any issues what so ever. I have to agree with Mags_suk. The knoll is better. I have a few of those as well.

I had that ram switch before and the threading on it sucked so bad, I couldn't unscrew it or screw it on all the way. Had to throw that mag away.

Don't buy it.

Ouch, $5.99 plus too much for UPS ground shipping for the RAM from Fry's.
I'm staying with the Krolls too, though I wish something else was available with less resistance/dimming/fiddling problems.

That does suck. it's smaller, and seem's to have a shorter acentuation. bummer, i was hoping they would get the CPF stamp of approval. To my eye the kroll on a mini mag stick's out too much and look's ugly while making it longer.and every once and awhile my ARC LSH-P's krol will do something funky like not light, or not latch on. click it a few times, it's fine, but makes me worry...VDG

That Ram switch can be a good thing, and serve you well for a long time, IF you get a good one.

I have one (out of two) that I bought a year ago, and have had no trouble at all with it.

Never order just one Ram switch,..-always order at least a couple, thereby increasing your probability of getting a good one.
-Also, never try to stretch or fool around in any way, with the spring on it..unless it's a last resort.

As others have said, the company's QC is a bit dodgy-to say the least. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif
