Indeed the NiteIze head strap is functional. I get glare on my glasses when I try to use it, but I do keep one in my truck.

It is entirely possible that the 3AA M*gled would be long enough not to glare.

I think I got mine at Acadeny Sports and Outdoor

I'll see about some testing with different lights...

Ah, yes. And how much does it cost you if you need surgery in Norway? Medicine? How about college tuition? Hm, wonder where that money comes from. . .
We pays our money and we makes our choices.

Someday I'd like to visit the ancient family Homeland near Trondheim, but I'll bring my own lights!

heh found it for 3.99 at frys. for that price what the heck, adds some potential utility to the damn thing. only gripe is unlike my headlight you can't tilt it independently from the strap, just gotta strap it into the position u want and stick with it. but until headlamps with 3watts become cheap and good this'll have to do:)

and its black at the frys i went to.. no tacky red! so you look slightly less idiotic wearing it lol:)

and yes its long enough not to glare

At the Lufkin, TX Home Depot 2 or 4 cell Modules were $15.03 but 3 cell were right at 20 bucks.

The only complete M*gleds were 4D (BIG suckers!).

No AA M*gleds to be found.

Incandescent M*gs had a deal or two but I'm not interested!

I saw a few MagLED 3AAs in the Saratoga (Wilton) Home Despot for $15.98 ... but didn't buy any. Maybe I'll buy one more (I have two already). I sent word to friends ... but doubt they'll buy any. :(

Trashman, were your 21LED lights Ice Cream IIs? Powered by 3AAAs? If so, I know they are VERY bright ... equivalent to a 1W Luxeon ... only floodier.

Where did yiou get them?? I got a few from DAE ... but would like more and they are out of stock of most colors.
