Minimag mod using K2 TFFC emitter with 2x14500 cells

I'm a novice on flashlight modding but keen to try installing Lumiled's new K2 with TFFC emitter in an old incan model 2xAA Minimag. I'd like to run the LED with 2x14500 cells, but need advice on what would be the best power module to use - that will fit in the narrow neck of the Minimag...? All helpful suggestions welcome.

Have you searched for "sandwiches"...?

Here is some you could use I think....

And you could allso post a WTB in the B/S/T section as I know there should be a few nice ones out there...

I`ve seen a few cutdown minis that actually look very nice on ocassions in the B/S/T aswell....


I would suggest getting a "kroll" clickie for it aswell...

HEATSINKING and minimag dont come together,
better think of another host, one where You can press the led mounting plate into the body.

for the 14500 Minimag, there is an incan conversion w. bulb, reflector + ceramic holder. Think it was available at lighthound
