Is there a drop in that works?

If not, what's the best route to go. The very skinny form factor works great with my suit coats when I have to wear them, but I'd like both more run time and brighter light than the stock bulb.

Take a look at this! . I've got one on order and will review it in 2xAA and 2xAAA modes.

If you really want to waste a bunch of your time you could
1) Buy a Dorcy AAA,
2) Replace the LED with a LuxIII,
3) Grind out a bunch of the Minimag and
4) Take the guts out of the Dorcy and put them in a Mag 2AAA.
It took a ton of work, but I did it--not all that impressed with it either. Definitely brighter than stock, but man, any old sammich will blow it away. You might want to give up on this idea if you want a bright little light. Just get used to carrying a bigger light.

Just for kicks....

The 2AAA Mag can host an ARC AAA head on the tail end. It screws right in. ON/OFF is controlled in the normal manner with twisting the head of the Mag. You can even leave the original bulb in it (and shine out both ends...). I also took the spring out of the tailcap and dropped it into the tube to allow for better battery connection.

Purpose? none. just for fun.
