Hello i am looking for a drop in Mod for a Surefire 6P flashlight that has LOTS of throw and 300+ lumens. Can you guys point me in the right direction? Thanks.

P.S. I am looking for around 80% throw and 20% spill.

Moddo triple Cree, narrow-beam optic?

700+ lumens of lightsaber, fits in an original (bored) 6P form factor.

The Moddoo triple is more of a flood unit.

I would say to ask Milky or Malkoff. I'm sure there's an aspheric setup you could hook up.

Just a note that the 300 lumen figure will knock you out of some extra throw. The emitters that do more than 250 lumens have larger dies and won't be as bright for throw because it is dimmer over more area.

Does it have to be an LED? If not check out the FiveMega Bi-Pin socket/reflector w/ Carley FM1794 (when the bulb becomes available). 1000 Lumens of incandescent throw using 2x IMR16340 Batteries and a Surefire twisty or McClicky switch. Otherwise, the only thing I can recommend would be a Nailbender XR-E R2 drop-in powered to 1.2 Amps (should get you to 300 emitter lumens) with 2x CR123 or 1x 17670 batteries.

Has anyone tried the D36 bezel....

????

The throwiest SF compatible setup I have ever used was Bigchelis' TLS M-series bezel, with a C-M adapter. He let me borrow it for a couple weeks while I was modding it with an XPG. Its pictured here with a solarforce, but any SF host body will work.

Heres the XPG emitter, I think its in the ~280-300 Lumen neighborhood.

Heres the beamshot, tree and kids toys at about 35 feet.

For comparison sakes, heres how that same XPG pill looks in a standard D26 reflector module.

An overdriven XR-E R2 in a smooth P60 reflector might be the best choice for throw. I personally don't like that type of beam because of the lack of useable spill.

the ol' masterpiece pro-I turbohead offers quite a bit of throw ;)

Forgot about that mod. The beamshots I've seen make it look like a laser with a large hotspot. It is ginormous though. Surprised you didn't post a link to your awesome review of it.
