My father recently found an old 10+ year old" city bug electric scooter, it's electronics were toast, so I'm direct driving it off of two of my 18 ah SLA batteries with one speed "full speed ahead" well since it was free I was wondering if there was any mods I could do to it. Any bigger motors I can drop in? It has a 250 watt one right now and my batteries can handle up to 1,000 watts "tested" The motor is 24 volts, what would happen if I slapped on another battery "36 volts" would I just fry the motor:mecry:? Or would I need to give it extra cooling "easily arranged":thumbsup:.
