MODERATOR: THIS IS AN ACCIDENTAL DUPLICATE DUE TO INTERNET PROBLEMS. CAN YOU MERGE THIS WITH MY OTHER THREAD? Thanks. [Done - DM51]

I'm seriously thinking about having my NT EDC nodded with a new emitter. I'm not really sure what my options are as far as LEDs go. I also need help understanding what all changes with a new emitter: brighter? Better run time? Losing the lower lows?

Thanks in advance for the info and LED options.

Re: Modding Novatac Reccomendations & Info

Here is a good place to start...

Do you really need three identical posts for this?

I sure don't. Thanks for the disgusted sarcasm. I had trouble posting and inadvertently multiple posted. I'm not sue how *I* can delete an accidental thread. I was not aware that I made three threads, I only saw two. And if you bothered to read; you'd see that in the one dupe thread I knew I made I asked that it be deleted.

Again, thanks for pointing it out. Hopefully a moderator will also notice and merge the threads.

Re: Modding Novatac Reccomendations & Info

Thanks for the link!! Now I just need to find someone who can do it for a fee… I'm not that daring!

You really don't need someone to do it for you... This is an easy mod, it would be a shame to pay for it. The hardest part is unscrewing the retaining ring.! If you can solder, this one is not that difficult.

The K2 link I sent you gives pretty good instructions. I have done it so would be happy to help you. PM me if you want.

Well, i just became the proud owner of a Novatac 120P and am now thinking of modding it. However:-

I'm no modder and cannot solder either :D

seeing that this thread was already up and running, i was wondering if some kind soul could point out any CPF-ers who do modding for a fee?

IIRC darkzero used to do that but i saw on his signature line that he isn't taking requests for now.

Thanks for looking.
