I bought a cheap little LED moonflower light from spencer's gifts. and its basically just an LED pannel with about 24 lights on it that shines on a rotating mirror in the housing, making paterns on the floor. It's like a dancefloor light. Well i only paid $40, so of course it's kinda lame. Is it possible for me to modify it by replacing each of the LED bulbs with a newer fancier bulb? like the ones that change color and stuff. Or is it more complicated than just cutting the old bulbs off and sauter new kool ones on?

Yes.

Yes.

The new emitters should use the same power as the old ones.

Should use the same power as in I need to make sure to get the right bulbs or as in they're all the same?
Thank you sooo much. I want to make this thing better but I didn't want to just screw it up cause it's not possible. Lol. Thanks a lot man

You don't really just cut out the old led's you desolder them and solder new ones in. Keep in mind that different colors have different forward voltages so you may not be able to use a high vf blue led in a red position. I'm pretty sure these aren't current controlled led's. Probably resistored to you may also need to change resistors out to keep maximum current within the led's limits.
