Moding a Minimaglite

I thinking of modding my minimaglite. I'm considering putting in an aluminium relector and a glass lens or a lens like in led lensers. Where could I get these parts at and which are the best?

I don't know about a alum reflector. Are you doing a hotwire mod?

No just replacing the plastic reflector. I plan on using 2 AA lithium batteries and xenon bulbs in it.

An aluminum reflector doesn't provide any distinct advantage over the plastics ones, unless you're doing AuroraLite's hotwire mod.

Is the kit still sold? Flashlightreviews is down and lighthound don't have it anymore.

Look in B/S/T, someone has/had a cut down minimag with a hotwire kit in it. :poke: It was called the miniminimag.

BTW, there is a thread all about the different mods that can be done on a mini. I saw it somewhere in the last couple of weeks.
