I am sure this has been answered many times, but I did use the search and could not find the answer I was looking for. What rechargeable batteries can you use with an old(KL1) E2L? Please be speficic I am fixing to order my first set of rechargeables(17670 for L4) and do not know much about them. Also what chargers would you recommend.

The 17670 cell works, if you have one of the older bodies that are wide enough for it to fit. At some point, Surefire started making body tubes that are too narrow for anything other than 123A primary cells to fit.

I use the Pila IBS charger for my Li-ion cells.
