This MTE SSC P4 Seoul flashlight can be bought as a 1xAA version or a 1x14500 version. any idea which is brighter? has a longer run time ? is more reliable ?

The 1xAA version is the most popular it has a real nice flood beam and a little bit of throw. I cannot speak for the 14500 version I have never owned one but I think the runtimes are shorter.

I've been testing the durability of the 1aa and have had good results so far. Been in my pocket for about 10 months now and has never failed me. It's even been bounced of the cement a few times. If it dies or I lose it, I've got 4 more on the shelf. Not bad for a cheapo!

I have seen a lot of good reports on the 1xAA version here and on DX.

The 14500 seems to be an unknown so I should probably not take the risk.
