I was looking around for an led light that has white, and red leds. Other colors added in are ok.Maybe even a light with a filter. Regular Alkalines would be great. Looking for something cheap nothing like the surefire kroma. Weatherproof wood be nice. Just a light to mess around with in the woods mainly, maybe some geocaching eventually. Thanks..

Simalir (sp) but a more traditional flashlight shape would be nice. If nothing comes up though that would do. It's nice and tough.

Fenix makes a red filter for your L2D; would that do it?

"Chaosmagnet" I was thinking of that this morning. Do you think that would be worth it or just get a red nit ize upgrade for one of my mini mags? It doesn't need to be SUPER BRIGHT. I'm guessing the Fenix filter, does it just slip on or do you have to take the head off everytime you want the filter. It looks like it slips on but i'm not sure.

As far as I can tell Nite Ize does not make a red filter for the Mini Mag. Mag's red filter is okay, but not great. The colored filter doesn't stay in the plastic sleeve when not in use.

I've ordered but not yet received the red filter for my P2D. It just slips on over the head. I expect that when I use it, I'll mostly be using it on low.

For me, I'd rather have the red filter for my P2D than carry a different light for that purpose.

Thats what i figured. Alright thanks, i'll order one when iever i get a chance. Thanks again to all.
