I have to say that I'm impressed with this new optic. I recently removed the 30mm optic from a 3C mod and although, with the Fraen optic (6 degree, I believe), the hotspot is less, it makes up in spill. For this reason, I believe the Fraen optic would be better for night walks. If you want to illuminate further away, then use the 30mm optic. If you want to see better closer, use the Fraen. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
