I bought this light 15 days ago because I want a reliable led flashlight but so far I had bad experiences from it.

I like the design and the type of battery it uses, and the waterproofness but the beam color is greenish with a blob of Purple-blue in the center of the beam

,and the bezel is missmatched from the body

, and my photon is whiter and brighter with no blobs

(for comparison) I can live with this but...

WTF is wrong with this stupid light?!?!?!?

Sometimes it refuses to light and I have to unscrew the light several times to get it to light, that is not reliable for me and am resorting to using the photon instead. already done the bezel lip maintenance Peter posted but this continues to happen. Got me soo mad a couple of hours ago that I threw it in the trash

, Had remorse afterwards and got it out. There has to be something I can do to fix this thing other than torturing it to death, any help?

Or should I just send it back to Peter and/or wait for the new batches of LE´s? For what I read the ARC sounds like an incredible light, but not this particular one. HELP!

A short email to Peter and a vallium for you

should fix things up quite nicely. He always stands behind everything.

My Le is one of my favorite lights.

Several of the ones I own have refused to come on once in a while, but sooner or later they start working again. One or two cut down on light output sometimes, but screwing the head down tighter usually makes it come back. If I were you, I'ld send it back & get it fixed. TX

AS much as it's a PITA to have to return a new flashlight, it will be easier on your nerves in the long run. I have gotten some (long anticipated) flashlights that turned sour on me, and I tend to react the same way.

But Arc Flashlight will take care of your light, with all possible speed.

Unlike most other manufacturers (with some exceptions, of course

)they are still a 'small business', where customer service comes first, and complaints such as yours will certainly get a very high priority.

Your timing is quite good, actually.
In this thread, Gransee says the new LE's should be ready next week.
Send him an email.

Guess I will do that, this little bugger is getting on my nerves big time, there it is again! No light!, it has new DL Ultra in it and no light!.

I´m gonna leave it in the drawer now, Anyone knows Peter´s E-mail?

EDIT: found it [email protected]

Thnx!

AlexGT,

I feel your pain. Nothing more frustrating than buying something then have to send it back to be fixed or replaced

. On the positive side Peter will do what it takes to fix the problem.

Cheers.
