I've had my Dereelight C2H for less than a week, and it had quickly become my favorite light that I own. But now half the time I click it on I get nothing! It comes on when I beat it against my hand sometimes so it must be some sort of loose connection. How disappointing! I want to exchange the light for the same one, but I'd hate to get another faulty one :shakehead

Have you pulled it apart and cleaned all the threads and contacts? Have you tried a different battery?

Sometimes dead simple stuff can turn a light into a paper weight.

I did try different batteries, not sure with this particular light how to disassemble and get to the switch itself. Will try and follow up. Thanks guys

Just remove the tailcap and look inside it. Usually there's a ring around the spring with 2 dimples in it. Try tightening the ring using something pointy in those dimples, like needle nose pliers. That's if your light has that kind of switch retaining ring, most seem to.

There are two holes, one on either side of the clicky on the outside of the tailcap. Try tightening the clicky into the flashlight using those holes. If you can't find anything else, nosehair scissors will work.
