I would expect that the motherboard would be operational if it's able to give you error codes and (maybe deliberately) preventing the system from starting up...?
Yea, I thought so too, but we'll see. Error codes can be wrong with a bad board. Could be a bad mainboard or he was just tired from dealing with this crap all day, he got there close to 8pm. And he had another one yet to go to. I'm sure he's seen enough of it where I'll just trust his judgement at this point right now. We'll see how soon it gets fixed. Washing dishes by hand now until.
