Yes, the newer X-boxes are no longer easy to hack. I wish I'd gotten one of the moddable ones - that's such a great statement to make, making one of Microsoft's boxes run its worst enemy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

i know how ironic. i hate microsoft. but i hate to say it the specs of the xbox blow the ps2 out of the water. i wonder if ya can still hack it to play back up of ya games im bad at scatching disk

o you both like to hack listen to this.as i said before i hacked my 4 speed single format dvd burner to a 8x dual format burner well that is kinda lame. check this out there is word on the wind ya can hack a lite on 812 burner to a get this a dual layer burner if i recall duall layer is like 9 gig instead of 4.7 they will be the new rage in a few months

Hey Ragman,

My brother did the same with his 4X lite-on burner. A simple firmware upgrade, and now it's an 8X. Never heard about the dual layer hack though. Have to keep my ears open and my eyes peeled. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

btw how is the xbox graphics compared to ps2? i mostly play football games or driveing games .some times games like resident evil

As far as the machine itself, I think the xbox has better graphics but everyone I know has a PS2. For what it's worth, I think the xbox is built far better than a PS2. Also, everyone I know has a broken PS2!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smoker5.gif

On the surface, xbox specs look better than the PS2... but the architecture of the PS2 is far more efficient at both the hardware and software levels.

Of course, the xbox was designed by Microsoft itself. Beware.

man o man i just called my dad he saw a xbox at gargage sale all it needed was a hardrive and it was just 15 bucks.but i wasnt home when he called me so he didnt get it.he also saw a bunch of ps1 games for 50 cents a peice lol
