Hey everyone,

Here's an update that is long overdue. I've had this light for about 2 months now and it is fantastic. The body was beautifully modified by Mirage_Man...done in the same style as my aspheric mag

I only have 1 C magclickie because I don't want to buy another one and have to fill all 6 slots with green tritium vials :sick2: (which definitely makes the tailcap look awesome).

The light runs 4 Cree XR-E Q2 WH bin leds. The emitters are directly epoxied to the heatsink. 4 McR19 reflectors + McR centering rings (also done by Mirage_Man...a must have on any tri/quad build!) focus the light. UCL provided by flashlightlens.com

Enough talk...on to the pictures

the hotspots converge after about a foot and from then on it looks like a normal single led flashlight

Here are some wall shots from ~10 feet. Camera was set on all manual settings

The WH bin LEDS give an awesome tint...no hint of blue/coldness

The light measures ~14,000 lux@1 meter and pulls ~2.2A from the battery. The LEDs are wired in parallel and direct driven, so each led sees about 500mA. I expect runtime of a tick under 1:30. At this pretty modest drive level, the head still gets warm after being on for 45 seconds and hot after a couple of minutes when not holding. The fins do an excellent job helping to cool down the light. I guesstimate the light is putting out a tad over 500 lumens

Thanks for looking

Damn, that's a mighty fine light, if I might say.
Where's the tailcap from? The tritium rocks :D

I really love these unique mag mods but can't convince myself to get one (or multiples) cuz I know I won't really use them!
