My take on the Diamondback Tactical Battlelab Individual Kit/Diver's Bag

I just acquired this bag...sometimes you need a rucksack and sometimes you just need a large bag to carry your gear short distances from point A to point B. This bag will do the latter very, very well.

The inside is huge! I will be able to carry most of what I would need for a week in the field with this bag. Now that I look at it again, probably even more than that. Due to its panel-loading design, it has easy access to the large main compartment. It will be great to "live" out of as it will be easy to access the entire contents quickly.

It has stowable, padded backpack straps also. The part of the main compartment that goes towards your back is thickly padded and the lower exterior pocket is padded all around.

Again, it is not designed for 20-mile road marches...but if you need to carry a lot of gear a few hundred yards, through an airport, etc., this would be a great option to look into.
