I'm sure a lot of you would like to see where I spend most of my time at. Granted, it's not pretty, so beware the following picture may be shocking.

For the rest of you, see how many items you can identify in the picture. There are many little tidbits here and there. Some never before seen items. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The blue rubbery items are my epoxy mold fixtures for holding the sandwiches during the epoxy filling step. You can see one has sandwiches in it and there are more sandwiches in the tray that will be filled shortly.

Workbench and sandwich module fixtures.

Enjoy, Have a good laugh and this thread is open for all comments, speculations and the works. Have at it.

Nice Wayne.

Heck, its cleaner than mine ussually is.

I clean it up before each mod, but, it looks like a bomb went off after each one.

I really like the 2 Mc-cans you have there.

Looks great to me. Most of my electronics work is still being done on my coffee table. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I'd love to know what material is being used for the epoxy molds.../ubbthreads/images/graemlins/poke2.gif

Wayne, looks like a great work area. Sadly, I setup my virtual workshop every night once the wife and kids are in bed, then put everything away before they get up. How nice it would be to have a dedicated work area! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

Incidentally, what type of material is that work pad made of? Sort of looks like a big sheet of PCB material. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

you've figured out his secret!

those things are merely components on the giant board, cleverly disguised as modding components.

i believe he's still working on reducing the size to something smaller than a table, but these are preliminary blueprints for an 800% efficient buck/boost driver /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sssh.gif

What you don't see is,I scrapped all the stuff to the left and right of the picture. A big pile on either side. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Considering that location I work on something different each day is amazing I can keep it that tidy.

milkyspit,

the yellow pad is an old ESD pad I got somewhere.

Below that is square carpet pads on a work table I had someone make me many moons ago. That is "the" carpet that has eaten more LEDs than I care to count.

Its... its.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

The mess is a small price to pay for having a work area where you can put all your stuff... in easy reach. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
