MYO RXP availability

Hello there
I have been looking for this item for a while, and can't find it at any Canadian retailer. I am not interested in purchasing any units outside of Canada due to high border taxes.

Does anyone know a legit place I can get this item in Canada? when the hell will MEC.ca stock it?

Anyone with a bit of information, I would appreciate your two cents

I too am looking for a local source(Nova Scotia). Would be nice if MEC started carrying them.

If you are out west Valhalla has them and online in QC you can get them from Lacordee it seems.

I think it's time all MEC members started requesting the outlet to carry them. Good luck in your search.

Looking at Petzl's official dealer list, it appears Europe bound should carry some Petzl products. I don't know if they can special order the RXP in. I plan on calling them tomorrow to find out.

Called the Europe Bound stores and none of them have the myo rxp in stock. They said they can do special order but the guy who deals with Petzl is not in until Monday. Didn't specify on the price and time it takes though. Will report back on Monday when I call again.

Update: Europe Bound got in touch with the Petzl representative about the availability but it appears there is a four month back order for this headlamp! I seriously have no idea what's going on :sick2:

Picked it up today! It will be my first headlamp ... so far I am really enjoying it. Beam is surprisingly smooth even without the diffuser and tint is pure white, no blues or greens.

Can't wait to receive my H501w next week! :twothumbs
