How do I remove the N62 Lamp Assembly on an old style turbohead from the laserproducts era? I don't want to touch it badly and damage it, so I'm seeking the advice of an expert. The bulb is still alive and does not need to be replaced at this time, but I would like to learn about it.

Apparently I was too cautious for fear of damage. And upon closer inspection, I could see that a small round rubber stopper-like object was acting as a resistance, making it difficult for the bulb to come off. Perhaps the rubber had stuck to the bulb over the years, making it even more difficult to dislodge. Once removed, the bulb can be easily pulled out by pulling.

Here's a pic of an N62 if that helps:
I never realized that there were two versions of the N62 lamp. I've only ever seen the black base ones with the filament welded on to the sealing wires. It looks like the filament is wound differently and attached differently on the silver/grey base revision. Closer macro photos might prove me wrong or right :poke:
