I thought I had fried the Dereelight 3SD driver with 2x123! With a loose 17500 I touched the leads going to the led and had light. But it would not work in the light.
As it happens the light in question is an Ultrafire WF-502B that I got with the 3SD. Turns out the switch has gone flaky.
I now have a DX R2 in the light with the two stage clickie from my LumaPower M1. And I don't care for it like that.
I have ordered a forward switch for the M1, and will then use the single mode switch in the UF. Unless of course I can cure what ails the UF switch...
Anyway I'm breathing easier just now!
EDIT: Funny, the switch has "MTE" on it....
