Hello there JohnK,

Very nice web page!

Im not complaining or anything, but some people might
not realize that the symbol "^" sometimes used to
indicate taking the square root is just that.

Most computer languages use "sqrt(x)" to indicate
'take the square root of x", or even writing it out
completely like:
square_root(x)
or
SquareRoot(x)

If you rearrange them with algebra, memorizing four formulae is all that is necessary.

E=IR
E²=PR
P=IE
P=RI²

I have been thinking a page similar to this on CPF.com would be a good idea.

Perhaps basic electronics principles, explanation/conversion of candlepower, lumen, lux, millicandella etc. Bulb filament chemistry, LED chemistry, stuff like that.
Perhaps info about how different light measurements are taken, how cell capacity is measured, etc.

Perhaps even java script Ohms law calculator, conversion between luminance units etc.

A reference database specifically for flashaholics, attached to CPF.

Shankus-A GREAT idea; for me, and all the other learning disabled. I'm still trying to figure out how much energy is lost using resistors; some say a LOT, some say negligable.
