I just received my first 5W Luxeon light today. Its a TNC Hyperlux V. I just love this light, it really lights up a room. It's a blem model, the body has some muddy, mottled ares in the finish but it doesn't bother me at all. The quality, machining and fit and finish are top notch.
Can't wait till nightime to try it out some more. I feel like Kirk on the old Star Trek when he was toting one of those phaser rifles. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I really like my SF L4. Powerful and room filling white light with spot. Fits in the pocket nicely with clip and rechargeable battery available. Two light levels also can be had.

Can you tell us more about what it is that you want the light to do for you exactly?

How much runtime do you require?
What's your budget?
What physical size/form factor light do you prefer?
Are you looking for a production light or a custom one?

The SureFire L4/KL4 is a great flood light.

Is it worth the price? Hmm... hard to say. I received my KL4 as a gift, so... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here's the runtime plot on the Nuwai ALX-352L. Has three output levels and a flasher mode. Got it for $75 at Golden Gadgets. It is brighter that the SF KL4....probably due to the bigger reflector. Also comes with a really nice holster.
