I'm looking for a vise which can be clamped to my table, and used for holding flashlights I'm working on. It needs to have soft jaws, or be able to use the magnetic soft jaws. It needs to be flexible in all directions.

Any recommendations?

Anyone buying a new one who wants to sell an old one?

Thanks.

I second the Pana Vise. I have one at work for when I'm working on small parts or bending tubing for analytical equipment.

These are NOT for heavy heavy duty work, but work great to hold small parts firmly while you're working on them.

Panavise, as others have said

If you need a heavy duty vise - find a used or reproduction pattern makers vise (like an Emmert) - don't be shocked at the price of those

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with the Panavise wide-jaw combination. I figure the parts tray will come in handy, and if I need to, I can clamp it to the bench with a C-clamp.
