Hello all,
I finally found someone selling an 04 Surefire M6 with the new IMPACT BEZEL. I wanted one of these to take with me to Iraq in Aug. What is the best way to carry one of these? Does someone make a good holster for a SF M6? Im sure I'll be hitting up Batterystation for a huge supply of 123 liths.

Should I invest in some extra lamps to take with me to the desert? Not sure of their life expectancy.

Thanks!

The BlackHawk M6 pouch I have fits the M6 with crenelated bezel. I have it and it's no problems. It would be good to know whether the SOE M6 pouch works as well - especially if it fits in the SOE with a BeamFilter (the BlackHawk M6 pouch will not accept the M6 with a BeamFilter).

I suggest you take a couple of each Lamp Assembly just in case. One of those tiny Pelican cases would be a good idea to keep the spares in.

Wish I knew if the SOE M6 holster can be used successfully with the new crenelated-bezel M6. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The old M6, even with the opaque BeamFilter, would fit into the SOE pouch provided that you didn't mind the pouch be stretched to the very limits of its capabilities, and that its top cover "tented" over the head (not fully cover, but still offering absolute retention).

Perhaps a call to SOE would be in order?

Best of luck!
