Need custom/mod ideas

So I've got this extra 1W low-dome white luxeon sitting around doing nothing.

Any ideas for what do to with it?

Actually, the posibilities are endless. Why not something powered off mains voltage? Maybe an under-counter light for your counter or an accent light above your fireplace or something...I don't know--what do you have in your house that needs to be lit up?

Luxeon-based. I'm thinking a PWM + small plastic box.

if you have it strobe fast enough, it might actually look like it isn't strobing. the phospher in the led is still active for about a half of a second after the power to it is off.

you could always make a flashlight out of it...
