Only the E series are smaller than the 6P. Why are you disappointed? There is no other light as good as the 6P in this class.

There are plenty of good lights that are smaller then the 6P. You have to be more specific, why you are disappointed, what you want out of a light, ect.

Personally I think the 6P is an amazing light, copied many times. I think the only better light is the 6P LED.

I'm surprised you don't like the 6P. Keep in mind that you can do a lot with it - P60/P61 lamp assemblies, KT1 turbohead. If you want a smaller light then the following might not interest you, but you can add an A19 one cell extender and then run a P90/P91 lamp assembly, with the choice of installing a KT2 turbohead for increased throw. In the not too distant future, SureFire should be making the P60L (LED) lamp assembly available for purchase, giving you yet more options. Not to mention the numerous third-party accessories.

It'd really help to know what you dislike about it..

To simply answer the question, though, the Maglite Solitare is smaller than the Surefire 6P :p

Hi Thanks for the replies. To answer your questions. 1 reason I don't like the 6P is it is not bright enough for me!! Heck I bought a Task Force light from Lowes a while back that is brighter then the 6P. I am looking for like a BarnBurner in the size of a 6P :D

Then get a Fenix P3D

I have modded my 6P with a Cree, driver, good heatsink to have the led run at full power without overheating and an 18650

--> 2.5 hours of bright light that kicks most lights of this class. Only the high output 20 min original lamp-assy might be brighter

get a malkoff drop-in in your 6P. It'll blow the stock assembly away.

Or switch to the P61 lamp

Or add 2 1 cell extenders and run a pair of 17670s and slap a KT2 on their and run a MN16 lamp. (woops, gets pretty big when you do all that)...

Or try a pair of RCR123s and a LumensFactory SR-9. That will nearly double your output.
