Newbie needs help identifying this flashlight for a special restoration project. I'm told this was a standard issue for the NYPD in early 90's, but I can't find any information about it. Any help will be appreciated. /dcb

The bulb looks like a halogen sealed-beam. I can see the encapsulated bulb behind the glass, so I'm pretty sure of that. It's probably an H7550.

That would make the power source 6V, most probably a 6V SLA.

Re: Help me please!

I have no idea what kind of light that is, as in make and model, but I can probably help you find something similar.

What kind of light are you looking for?
What use?
How much runtime?
Preferred output source?
Price?
Power source?
Multimode?

:welcome:

Re: Help me please!

It's a sealed beam lantern.

I can see the small GE inside a cirlce on the glass lens. :) Par 36 6 volt I would guess.

Re: Help me please!

That looks like a typical 6 volt incandescent lantern, possibly Rayovac or Energizer. Probably uses a large battery or maybe 4 D cells.

Edit: I see what you mean Sarge. Good eyes.

Somebody needs to turn off the "echo" setting in this thread

And $163 for an 8 watt halogen light?! Are you serious? :banned:
