Need help on Surefire tailswitch

Hello everyone,

I just recently bought a Surefire C2-HA and want to accessorize it already. Well, to begin with, I just bought a KL3-HA which should be coming in by tomorrow. Next, I was thinking of buying a tailswitch to match with my KL3, but can't decide whether to get the Z48 or the "chunky" SW02 tailswitch. Which one would you recommend for reliability, function, and looks? All help would be greatly apprecited. Thank you very much everyone, and take care!
 
Z48 is cost efficient and it has the same functions as Charlie(Sw02). But the latter looks cooler and cost more. I got the Sw02 myself. It's hard to recommand between the two. For better price/performance ratio, the Z48.
 
They are the same switch with different styling.
I find the best use of the SW02 is on the M4.
My M2's have Z48/Z49 Clickies on them.

I do think the M4 gotta have a combat grip. I noticed the prototype, which is the 6th one from the right on your sig pic. What is that?
 
It's a proto-type(!)
The "CombatGrip housing" replaces the MH90 Millennium Universal Housing of the MU Series WeaponLights. I simply screw on a TailCap and a Lamp Module (such as the LU20 in this case)...

I understand why the M4 does not have a CombatGrip. One of the reasons why PK sent me the CombatGrip Housing proto-types was to show me that the Millennium TurboHead makes the M4 too bezel-end heavy (which was already a user concern reported of the 12ZM). If you put a BeamFilter on the Millennium TurboHead it makes it worse.

zephyr: good choice on the C2! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif if you want it to look really cool, get the SW02 but if you intend to use it, then get the Z48 since they're functionally indentical.

I went to the SF site and although the search function could find the Z48/49, it did not recognize sw02. Anyone know where there is a pic?
 
What is the part # for taicap with a on/off switch attached by a wire?
 
MR Bulk, the SW02 is a weaponlight accessory, the weaponlight PDF file to be downloaded includes it. And here's a pic from TAD:

UUxx, xx is the length of the desired cable in inches.

SW01 is the "easy grip" MU Push Button TailCap Pressure Switch.

SW02 is the "easy grip" MU Click TailCap Switch (aka "Charlie")

UUxx is the MU Tape Pressure Switch with cable length xx inches (05/06/07/10/14 'standards')

Although I have never seen a photo of one, a "Rocker-Style" Constant-On switch on the end of a cable length xx is likely to be UUxxB.
Two Tape Pressure Switches UUxxyy.
One Tape Pressure Switch and a Constant-On Rocker UUxxyyB
One Tape Pressure Switch and a Disable Rocker UUxxyyD
Disable and Constant-On Rockers UUxxyyBD

Add "K" for waterproof to 30 metres
Add "H" for waterproof to 30 metres and stiffen the switch
Add "L" for tape pressure switch 5" long instead of 2.25" long.

The Classic WeaponLight also had "flag" switch options on the TailCap to either Constant-On ("T") or to Disable ("S")

It's not complicated!

I have both types of the click switches, The SW-02 and the Z-48.

I much prefer the SW-02 which has the rubber shroud around the button. the shroud prevents accidental turn on.
