need help with sony camcorder charger

I have a sony TRV108 camcorder. I just got the infolithium battery for it, but I dont have a charger. I need to know if the battery will charge if power is applied to the power jack on the back of the camera. If powering the camera this way WILL charce the battery, I need to know what the specs on the wall charger unit.
Any help will be helpful.
