Hi,

Ive read bat threads until my head hurts and now know enough to be dangerous...

I use mostly SF lights - using CR123's. I'm converting to LED's in the SF lights (tired of blown bulbs) and love the longer runtimes and lifespan. Im also picking up a few new led lights (once and addict always an addict...).

So I have bought a new tenergy RCR123 charger and some tenergy rcr 3V bats. I'm going to need a charger for some of the AA/14500 sized lights Ive ordered (jetbeam, olight, nightcore). I have 16 NiMH 2300mAh bats that I'm replacing with tenergy NiMH 2600mAh bats. Originally, I thought I would just use my energizer charger and some knock-off charger (that has 12V DC charging cord), but now Im thinking this is really gunna be a PITA when I travel overseas for work. Add to that the fact its almost a given someone will need a battery or to use my charger. Then having read all the concerns over Li bats exploding when/if a protection circuit fails - this is real potential issue when lights are battered against each other when a light is mounted on a weapon - or just getting slammed around when the user is in the mountains or riding in a POS truck on a POS road in a POS place....So I feel kind of stuck..

I need good, reasonably safe RCR123 and rechargeable AA/14500 sized batteries, and good charger that I can power off 110 and 12 DC (Hell, while Im asking having a solar panel I could plug in would be nice). Preferably one charger that could handle both (Pila??)

So while Im old enough I dont have to hump it in a ruck that often, I now forget where I left 'it' more! So simple, universal (as possible) and rugged is what I need.

Thanks for your help!
