I plan on purchasing two lights in the next couple of weeks. I would like one targeted at throw (500+ lumens) and the other a flood (500+) , can be multiple CR123's,or AA's not into recharging at this time. Max price would be around $150 each, less would be better. I have been reading thread after thread and have come up with the following lights. I am new at this and basically would be interested in some opinions.
First the throwers :
Lumapower MVP Turboforce P7
Jetbeam M1X
Thrunight Catapult V2
Olight M30 Triton
Dereelight (would need help picking options for sure)
MG X Thrower SST-50
Floods :
Fenix TK40
Lumapower Signature Tactical SST-50
4Seven Maelstrom G5
Dereelight
MG P Rocket Cree XP-G R5 (orange peal reflector)
I'm sure all of these perform well but if someone could maybe point me to the best performing one for the price that would be great.
