Need some help with a weapon light setup

So I'm looking for a weapon light for my Benelli M4. Initially I was looking at the two Surefire options below:

Surefire Scout M600C at $425

Surefire X300 at $249 plus another $165 for the remote switch

Any thoughts of one over the other? I'm wondering if the X300 can stand up to the recoil of a shotgun.

I was also contemplating using a Surefire 6P at $89 with a Tacstar pressure switch for $15...and if I really want to step it up I can drop a Malkoff in it. It certainly seems to be a cheaper option. But does anyone know anything about the Tacstar pressure switch? Is it reliable? Are there any other pressure switches out there? Maybe one without all the coils? I did a search but wasn't having much luck.

I have a couple of surefire weaponlights and have to say that they are top notch. Of course, you pay quite a bit for that premium. The x300 will definitely stand up to the recoil of your shotgun. Although I haven't run it on my 870, I have probably shot 500 or so rounds with my usp .45 and probably about the same on my AR. It is a nice little package that provides sufficient lumens for my recreational shooting.

After being introduced to P60 style dropins, I strongly believe that they can be a cheaper alternative to dedicated weaponlights. I would just make sure that your LED dropin is potted to ensure everything holds up against the recoil. I also use Larue QD mounts for all my accessories so I can use my 6P for everyday use and put it on my mount if I decide to go that route. Personally, I would invest in a surefire switch. They are very reliable and are made to withstand the abuse you can expect with a run and gun scenario. Hope this helps!
