I bought a Triton a long time ago and till now have yet to make use of it. It's a long story.....

I need to check with you guys if something like this will power the Triton?

http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1627

Also, do I need to modify the power supply unit or the Triton so taht they can connect to each other?

Sorry about what must seem like a silly question.. I'm an absolutely ZERO when it comes to electronics...

Please help as I'm looking for a convenient and easy power supply to power up my Triton.. Thanks

According to the manual
Triton only accepts DC input power which could come from a power supply or 12V
automotive battery. To achieve Triton's maximum potential, the power source must
be capable of delivering at least 13 amps of current while maintaining 12 volts DC.

So the one you are looking at is kinda underpowered.

No. With an appropriate power supply, your Trition will handle those just fine.

Hello Tessaiga,

While not cheaper, this power supply will also work.

The cheapest way to power the Triton is to use your car battery, or a "jumper" battery if you happen to have one.

You may also be able to use a power supply from a computer if you can find one good for 15 amps.

Hey check out this link http://one18th.com/ShowArticle79.htm it teaches you how to build one with a cpu power supply. I didn't build one yet but I'm considering picking up a Triton and building one myself. The Triton has plenty of good reviews but it's pricey. I don't know if I'm gonna use it enough to justify it's cost. Here's another link with pics of a nice blingy cpu power supply someone built http://www.one18th.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15971&page=3. Just scroll down to post #62. Hope this helps!
