Ive built a couple of p7 mags for the local 5-0, but now Im trying to upgrade to better cells. Im using a pair of 18650's, with spacers. What id like to use is 3 of these, http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=2708
Im using kai's $12 p7 driver(with no issues), so 3 li-ions in series is as much voltage as i can use. what i need help with is finding parts, specifically a balancer/protection circuit for the cells. it would have to fit under the heatsink and driver, up top. i think i could use some small, flat wire for the balancing leads. my goal is just a single plug for charging, without the need for a balancing port. can anyone find a balancer/protection circuit that will fit, and not break the bank? It doesnt need to be high amperage. at most, 3 amps.
