Need your help!

Hello everybody!

I am a new member to this board and to the subject of lasers. I am very interested in your opinions and advice. I am facinated by lasers so I decided to get me one but I have no clue which one is the one that will satisfy my needs. I know that green lasers are the better choice over the red lasers, even though I would prefer to have a blue color laser if it was as powerful as the green once. I went to search on ebay for green lasers but I am lost with all the choices out there. I am ready to spent no more then 150$ for this toy. Many green lasers I noticed are said to be modifiable from 5mw to up to ~45mW. Is it really possible to upgrade you laser without the need to buy any new additional parts? There are also many different brands on ebay who offer quite similar green lasers in design and specefications but are they all the same? I would like you to check couple of ebay links and if you can please give me your best opinion and my options.

Here, I found this laser on ebay.

but the problem is that I live in Canada and they only distribute it inside United States. Do you have any other recommendations? Also will I be abke to modify this glp-105 laser into ~45mW?

There are many other sellers out there that i dont trust..
i`m not telling any name.. but many says theyr laser is "the brightest ever" "it`s like a light saber" "EXTREME POWER" and so on...

Why Vital Spirit sells only 5mW lasers?

I've ordered two 5mw Leadlights from vital spirit to the UK, and hope to mod both of them to 20mw+

Mine's an EXTREME wickedlaser and it's amazing.

However at the moment it appears the guy at wickedlasers hasn't been around for a while and one guy on there has tried posting about how his hasn't been delivered after a month of ordering it and his posts keep getting deleted and he hasn't had an answer.

Whatever the excuse for that is I don't know, but it's not good enough anyway so I certainly won't be buying from wickedlasers ever again.

www.edinst.com distribute the pgl3 by the single. The guy there told me they wanted £490 though :O

Do you know any pgl or gpl distributors in Canada ?

Well the lasers are "CNI PGL 3"s, in which the "CNI" bit stands for Changchun New Industries.

The website says there are only two distributors, Changchun - China and Edinburgh - Scotland.

I tried e-mailing them in China for ages but got no reply. I'd try using one of these e-mail addresses:

Those two are both the Edinburgh ones but at least I got an answer out of them that way
