Can the Mag3C Quad run on regular NiMh "C" cells? If so, what kind of output drop from the 1000 lumens should be expected

I sent a detailed PM on the driver but at reduced power level of 700ma to the LEDs an output of about 675 lumens should be possible not sure of runtime though that would depend on the condition of your "C" cells because if the battery current to the driver rises over 3A it can blow the driver. The light can also be programmed to warn of low voltage by flashing. Theres a red STAT LED under the GITD button that will flash at medium voltage as well. Just takes a bit of time and lots of button presses to get it set to run off a different battery source at reduced output.

The Mag3C Quad is actually a 4 "C" Maglite but I've been calling it a 3C because of the 3 26700 cells I use.
At 70mm 3 of the 26700 are 10mm too long hence the 10mm extension tube. 4 50mm "C" cells fit just fine.
