Update:

I just came from the anodizer shop, I gave them 8 small samples of bare aluminum rod.

I asked them to: hard anodize all, beadblast and then tint them in different colors: Black (default), Red, Blue, Yellow, Natural and dont remember the remaining ones /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

Depending on results I may add color options and beadblast (5 levels).

When I get this light in a few weeks I will want to have it modified with a dual stage ability. I am hoping to get a discussion going here on how this can be done, or better still, who would like to do it for me. For instance, 4sevens did a dual stage mod for my Q3R which worked out well. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I had two tailcaps from preproduction, so the obvious thing happened: MODDING... I decided to knurl one:

that mod will not make it into the production run, this was done to the parts I pulled from the shop in the testing stage. as you can see the keyhole attachment is not there.
