New 6P Gun Metal and FM37 Beam cover -*UPDATE*!

I really like the GM 6P, its' a really nice looking finish. Its a little different from my BK 6P structurally though, this has the black screw down thingie in the bezel and my black 6P doesn't. Wonder why that is? Heres the 6P:


And heres the FM37 beamcomver on my G2Z with HOLA and Mr. Tactical Lanyard/Gear Keeper. If you look close you can see that the latch on the beamcover snapped in two - about 15 mins after laying my hands on it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif As you might imagine, I'm not too happy about it. Works great though and makes the light look cooler/meaner. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think the screwy down thing in the bezel is because of the pyrex lens, where the older 6P's had lexan lenses.

Hmmm, you may be correct. My black 6P does have a lexan lens.

This new 6P is so nice looking I'm afraid to use it!!

UPDATE! Called Surefire customer service, theyre going to send out a brand spanking new FM37 beamcover!! What a company!!
