New at flashlight Hobby

Hello, I am new at this hobby and already install a led in a surefire E2E for test only and it works but not as good as other Led flashlights that I have. My question is, What is the best way and the parts list to install a Led in a Surefire E2E? Please remember that I want to do it myself and not buying a head conversion head if possible.

There is a ready-made module which you can drop into the E2e, and other members who have one may tell you about it.

However, I assume from what you say that a drop-in is not what you are looking for, and that you are aiming to do a complete mod yourself, so I'll move your thread to the Homemade & Modified section.
