the aaa and aa don't have a lens because they don't need one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
everything is potted, so waterproofing isn't an issue, and adding a lens would only reduce output and make it more expensive to make and vulnerable to damage.
the leds don't put any heat out the front, unlike incandescants /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Problem with my new baby
Okay, I got my new Arc AA yesterday, used it last night and it worked beautifully. Tonight I tried to use it and it won't work. The head seems to be making contact with the battery. I even tried changing the battery, just in case, but that didn't work either. Is there something I don't know about or should I just send it back to Tempe for the pros to look at?
