New \"Bare emitter board\" ?

Just received parts and two "Bare Emitter Board" but it's different from previous board. There are only holes for connectors and no holes for leads of Led.

Did you change the board ?
I can't assemble sandwich with this bare board.
What can I do ? Do you have new assembly instruction ?

New emitter board does not have holes for the led leads? Glad I have a couple of the older ones /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
You will have to cut down the led leads and solder directly to the connectors.
I have done this once, using a led which I had damaged the leads.
The picture below is a sandwich made by Wayne, not the one which I had made.

There is less chance of epoxy oozing out with the new boards.

If you solder the LED down the old style there is a chance of the rotational force to sheer off the LED. That's what I saw and then moved to soldering both legs on each side down the way it is now.

Sorry, if that makes it harder to solder the LED on.
