New batteries need charge?

Hello,
I just picked up some Eneloop AAA batts and a new charger. I placed the Eneloops in the charger and they have been charging for awhile. ? Does this sound right? It says they are pre-charged.

They come from the factory charged to about 75% of their capacity.

They may charge for a bit to top them off but is also depends on whether you are using a smart charger or not.

What charger are you charging them in?

Using a RayoVac PS3 that I just got. I'm going to try this charger and may upgrade to one of the Maha or LaCrosse chargers.
