New Brinkmann "Rebel" Led Light

I've had one of these since Christmas. My father in law got it for me. He works at Wally World and knows what a flashlight geek I am. I was really impressed with it. I informed him and he bought one, opened, and sends the potential customer to the bathroom to check it out. They can't keep them on the shelfs. If you can find one, it's money well spent.

I just received a replacement tail assembly, and I've been told this breakage problem has been addressed. Apparently, the glue they used weakened the plastic, so they redesigned the assembly to be glue-free.

Time will tell.

I filled out a feedback form on the brinkmann site-- within 4 hours I had a reply in my inbox, stating they'd send a replacement tailcap. It arrived about 3 days later. Pretty good service-- it's just too bad they goofed on the glue in the first place.
